Paul Marconi- Co- Director of CSA
- Played 4 years as a varsity starter at Glenwood High school from 1991-1994
- Graduated and played 2 years at Springfield College in Illinois from 1995-1997. Received a soccer scholarship. Placed 4th in the NJCAA national tournament in 1996 serving as 1 of the team captains.
- Graduated and played 3 years at McKendree College (University) from 1997-1999. Received a soccer scholarship.
- Volunteered and hired as an assistant soccer coach at Glenwood High school from 2001-2005. Jay Lipe was the head coach. During this time, the girls soccer team placed 3rd and 2004 and 2nd in 2005. The boys placed 4th in 2003.
- From 2007-2016, I was the Springfield YMCA Soccer Director and later promoted to the Sports Director. I was in charge of 10 sports but soccer was my primary sport. During this time, the program grew to 2,000 players on average per season (spring and fall), recruited referees, worked with volunteer coaches, built, executed and exceeded an annual budget.
- Currently refereeing soccer IHSA (19 years) and NISOA (14 years). I have been selected as a State Official for the IHSA a total of 6 times.
- I currently hold 5 diplomas from the United Soccer Coaches (used to be the NSCAA) and am working on other diplomas based on youth soccer.
